Branch Network
VRH concentrates its work in areas of deprivation where we're needed the most.
We have 17 branches delivering our service in England in the following areas:
- Manchester and surrounding areas
- Birmingham and surrounding areas
- Leeds/Bradford and surrounding areas
- Durham and surrounding areas
- Liverpool and Cheshire
- Northamptonshire
- London
- Kent
What our branches do
The branches manage and support the reading helpers in their area. Their job is to:
- Recruit and train our reading helpers
- Offer them on-going support throughout their placement
- Liaise with schools to ensure they receive a quality service
- Arrange events and further development training to all reading helpers
- Replace any reading helpers that leave
By offering this level of support to our reading helpers and schools, we can make sure the children our service benefits have every chance to reach their full potential.
How to find your nearest branch
If your school falls into one of our service areas above, then you can find your nearest branch by looking at our VRH branch finder. This will take you to the branch page and you can contact them directly.
