Your branch is there to support you in your reading helper role. Please check the branch page regularly to see what events they have planned each term. These will include:
- Further development training sessions
- Branch meetings
- Book swap meetings
- Coffee mornings

Stay connected
If your branch is using Facebook, you can also follow them to get reminders for events and news.
Resources
Your branch will have a stock of books and games you can use in your reading sessions. They will organise book swap meetings so you can come and change the books in your book box. However, if you can't wait for the next meeting, please contact your branch to see when it would be convenient for you to pop in and pick up some new resources.
Keep us informed
Please get in touch with your branch if you need to let us know about a change in your contact details. Please also talk to your branch as soon as possible if your circumstances are changing and this might affect your volunteering role.
Child protection
You should also contact your branch if you have any concerns regarding the children you support. Alternatively, you can call our central office on 020 7729 4087. If it's out of usual office hours, you will be directed to an emergency number.
